Turning F&B space into long-term social and economic infrastructure.

The Public Plate is a commercially viable food and hospitality model designed for mixed-use developments .

Creating employment, skills, affordable food, local economic opportunity and stronger food systems throughout the life of a place

We're looking for development partners.

We are looking for a small number of development partners to pilot the model within substantial mixed-use or regeneration schemes. We're particularly interested in developers who:

  • already measure social value through frameworks such as TOMs;

  • make substantial social-value commitments as part of development bids;

  • are developing large mixed-use or regeneration schemes;

  • take a long-term approach to stewardship and place;

  • have meaningful F&B or community-facing space; and

  • want social value to be embedded in the commercial life of a development, rather than delivered as a series of separate initiatives.

We’re building the foundations for our first public restaurant.

Seeking aligned local authorities, forward-thinking landlords, and patient capital partners to help launch a new model of civic infrastructure.

If you believe towns and cities need new forms of everyday civic space,  and you have the influence, assets or capital to help bring one to life,  we would love to hear from you.
